If you are on the Government Hajj Scheme 2027 in Pakistan, the window for paying your second instalment of Hajj dues is open now and the Ministry's notice gives 20 October 2026 as the last date. A requirement was added after the window opened: a medical fitness certificate must be uploaded before you pay.
This page exists to give you the dates and point you at the Ministry's own notice board. We are a Quran and Islamic content site — we do not file, submit, process or facilitate anything, and nothing here replaces the Ministry's own instructions.
The two dates
- Collection of the second instalment began 5 October 2026, at midnight, per the notice dated 5 October.
- The last date given for submitting the second instalment is 20 October 2026.
We are not going to tell you whether that date will be extended. We have seen no notice either way, and the Ministry's board shows that deadlines in this process have sometimes been extended and sometimes not. Treat 20 October as the date you have, and if an extension is announced it will be announced there, not here.
The medical fitness certificate
The notice dated 8 October 2026 is headed “Medical Certificate is Compulsory before 2nd installment for Government Hajj scheme 2027”. The notice image states that before submitting the second instalment, uploading a medical fitness certificate on the Pak Hajj app or the portal is compulsory.
That is the extent of what the notice says about it. It does not, in the material we read, specify which doctor, hospital or facility may issue the certificate, or what it must contain. If you need that detail, ask the Ministry or your bank branch — do not take it from us or from a forwarded message.
What else the 5 October notice says
We read the notice image itself on 13 October 2026, rather than only its headline. Alongside the dates it states:
- Payment is made through the Pak Hajj app and the Digital Hajj Portal.
- Uploading the medical fitness certificate is compulsory.
- The package amendment facility closed at the same time the collection window opened on 5 October.
- If payment is not made by the due date, the Hajj application is cancelled and the amount already deposited is returned.
That last line is the one worth reading twice. The consequence of missing the window is stated as cancellation of the application, not a late fee.
What we are deliberately not telling you
No amounts. No bank names. No account procedure.
This is not caution for its own sake — those figures were not in the notices we read, and a wrong number here costs a reader real money. If you want the amount payable, it is on the Ministry's own material and in the Pak Hajj app against your application. Do not take a figure for this from any website, including ours.
We are also not giving you a Hijri date for any of this. The Ministry's own notice titles are inconsistent about the AH year for the same month, so every date on this page is Gregorian.
Check the source yourself
Everything above comes from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony's own notice board, read on 13 October 2026:
mora.gov.pk/LatestNews — the Ministry's Latest News page, where the notices dated 5 October and 8 October 2026 appear.
There is a reason we are being this insistent. On 7 October 2026 the Ministry posted a notice of its own headed “Verify First about Unverified information”. A great deal of Hajj scheme information reaches families through forwarded WhatsApp messages, and the body that runs the scheme is itself asking people to check before believing. We would rather be the page that sends you to the Ministry than the page you forward instead of it.
If something on this page disagrees with the Ministry's board, the Ministry is right and we are out of date.
While you are preparing
Our Hajj & Umrah guide covers the rites themselves — the steps of Hajj and Umrah, the duas with transliteration and translation, Ihram rules and packing checklists. It is the evergreen companion to this page: the rites do not change when a deadline does.
May Allah accept the Hajj of everyone who is called to it this year, and make the way easy for those still preparing. And Allah knows best.
